My Special Gift.

A couple of month ago. Jane from Want it Need it Quilt it had A give away she asked if you had One special Birthday Wish what would it Be My answer was I would like to go into A quilting shop and Instead of just looking be able to buy what I wanted as being on A pension it is Hard.No I did not win her give away But having The big heart she has she sent me A 3kilo bag of material from her stash .so my wish came true. So yesterday I decided to have A play I am not good at Quilting But I am learning .My daughter Beth from Highland Hen helps me A lot if I get stuck I ring her.Well this is what I have done so far. Dont look too close I am happy I will make A quilter out of myself yet.

One of my dear friends Del went to A garage sale and bought A box of crafting things for 7dollars in it were lots of crafting goodies and A few sewing things as she does not sew she gave me all the sewing things their were two quilting books and all these hexies all cut out and ready to sew I have never tried hexies before but I have been watching all the girls in globland doing theres and I thought I might try that some day Well that day has come This is my first try I think they look right.The books pictured behind them are the quilting books Well I am off to do some more Hexies He He He I think I am so Clever.

The old woman who lived in the shoe.

There was an old woman who lived in A shoe. She had so many children she dident know what to do.

I found this at the thrift shop someone must have spent hours sewing them they are so cute One of my grandchildren will love this.

I found this chenille bed spread it is brand new 5 dollars I noticed some of the blogs I look at use this for their quilting so now I have it what do I do with it Any ideas will be welcome. And this is A pin cushion my daughter Beth made for me as I am doing A bit of stitching it Is very handy Thanks Beth I love It.

Being on A pension and Having so many grandchildren to spoil I dont often buy things for myself but Lynette Anderson Designs was selling This Quick unpicks and I just had to have one.It is A scottish man I just love it. I have A friend that Lends me some Peoples Friend magazines every week she brings them into the Lifeline store that I volunteer at so I made this bag to carry them in.
